Merry Christmas + Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas + Happy New Year!

Since the last week has been packed full of travel, family, fun and unwrapping gifts I am finally able to catch my breath and reflect on a year that has exceeded my expectations on every level. It is this time of year that I am aware of everything that I've been blessed with, particularly just days after returning from yet another amazing 'boot drop'. Everyone on the Roma team can agree with me when I say, we are absolutely blown away by the year 2015. Truthfully, 2015 was a year for the books.

It is hard to believe that by 2015, just 5 years in, we would have boots on the ground in 5 continents across 25 countries, and thousands of happy feet. This year alone, Roma Boots has donated over 30,000 pairs of new boots to children in El Salvador, Guatemala, China, Nicaragua, Tanzania, Romania and Armenia.

2015 also rung in a new collection with Roma by Sadie Robertson. These fun, floral and stylish boots reflect Sadie herself. This collaboration has been such a fun one, and the boots have flown off of our shelves! (Not to mention onto Nordstrom's!) Our team has been working around the clock packing up orders per usual around the holiday season. What a monumental year it was to expand Roma Boots onto such a notable department store's shelves.

Topping off the year, just over a week ago, we packed up our bags along with over 20 other Robertsons and off we were for one of our favorite Christmas boot drops. We landed in Guatemala where we spent several days right before Christmas in a country that we've been visiting since 2011. We gave out boots, school supplies, hugs, love, played non-stop, and laughed a ton.

We cannot say thank you enough for helping us bring bring hope to thousands of people through your purchase of Roma Boots. No matter how much we grow and evolve, one thing will never change and that is that we endeavor to 'give poverty the boot'. The boots are a practical necessity, but they are also a conduit of hope and these children's faces reflect the joy and hope they feel with each new pair of boots that they receive. Five years ago we had no idea where this simple vision of 'giving poverty the boot' will take us. Poverty was the problem, education was the solution, but love was always the motive. Since our inception we've witnessed the power of love and we know that it's impossible to change the world without love. Thank you for believing in us and thank you for the love you've shown. We are eternally grateful for you!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,

-The Roma Team
